Member students' unions of the Canadian Federation of Students-BC, representing 150,000 university and college students in the province, unanimously adopted the Education Shouldn't be a Debt Sentence campaign in August 2009.

 

The campaign goals are:

1. The establishment of a student grants program.


2. A tuition fee reduction.


3. An increase to core funding.


4. The elimination of interest on BC student loans.
